You've come to the right place to learn how to raise your children to be Leaders, NOT Followers, as well as how to teach your children to think for themselves using Scripture as their basis for decisions.

What is Raising Leaders Team?

The Raising Leaders Team is a place where fellow homeschoolers gather and swap ideas, exchange resources and share ways they are implementing Leadership Education.  Raising Leaders Team has exclusive access to a monthly class about a specific Leadership Education topic. 

What will you cover in the monthly classes?

Monthly classes will cover topics the team members want to discuss.  Kerry Beck will host each class.  Either Kerry or a Guest Speaker will present information on a specific Leadership Education topic.  After the presentation, questions from the Raising Leaders Team will be addressed.

Each class will be transcribed and posted on the Raising Leaders Team website.

What Resources are available to the Raising Leaders Team?

How much will it cost?

The tuition to join the Raising Leaders Team  $15 per month and you can cancel anytime you feel that the content is not helping you grow and succeed in your homeschool.  

I realize that you may think this is too much to spend on a monthly basis, so I want to help you out.  If you get three friends to join, you can be a member for FREE.  That's right, your membership is free.

A New & Living Way - Part 1:  Set Apart for God

Since it is the beginning of a "new" year, I want to address the new & living way that God tells us about in Hebrews 10.  I plan to discuss these verses with my own children this coming week, so they will contemplate these verses for themselves.  It's a great way to encourage "thinking".  I've also included a short Bible study you can print for you & your children to work together.

A New & Living Way - Part 2:  Boldly Approach God

LET US draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.      Hebrews 10:22
After being exhorted to a new and living way, we are given three commands: to draw near with a true heart, to hold fast the confession of our hope, and to consider one another in love & good works. If the author had left out "let us", "you" would have been implied and these verses could apply individually or corporately. These exhortations are prefaced with the words, "let us". This means we are to follow these commands as a body of believers. We are to do this as a group.

As I ponder my goals for 2007, I am reminded of the verse which says, Without a vision, the people perish (Proverbs 29:18). When we don’t have a vision for the future, or goals for the upcoming year, we flounder and perish. As you look to this new year, you should see the wide and varied opportunities that God has for you so you will not waste the year away.

Writing Goals with Kids

Goals are essential for effective leaders. Where there is no vision, the people perish. (Proverbs 29:18) As you raise your children to be godly leaders of tomorrow, you must give them tools to have vision. As they have a vision of where they are headed as a leader, they will have goals to direct their paths.
The beginning of a new year is a terrific time to teach vision and goals.
